The Monument Copper Pipe Bender, 15-22mm, is designed to professionally bend BSEN1057 15mm and 22mm copper pipe and 15mm stainless steel tube. Commonly used by plumbers, a tube bender is an essential piece of equipment to get the job done efficiently. The build quality of these benders is great - you can feel it is a quality, well made tool when you pick it up. No fiddly guide that you put down then go back to find it to form another bend and can’t find it again. I'm normally used to my Hilmor where I've got the 15 guide and a 22 mm guide built in, whereas these come in either a 15 or a 22 version.

The built in former is a big revolution for me only having to keep the bender without any formers it's mint. Please ensure you have the necessary ability and equipment (if required) to move the items into your property.To start off, so there's the former, start off by putting the 15mm like that in and hold, unlike our normal Hilmor where it flips over and you have to keep on guiding it in, it does hold it in. After a few years of wanting to up my bending game I finally caved and got a pair with some promotion or another. So straight out of the box, you get the pipe bender, the Velcro strap for storage, two extension bars that easily screw into the end of the bender to make pulling a bend just that little bit easier. You've also got these handy extensions, they do simply screw to the bottom, just in case you need a bit more oomph. The former guide is plastic and moves around, plus I don't like that the two arms are detached with no way to lock them together.

Best purchase by far when it comes to pipe bendera, had roberg, hilmor but these new style monuments are f***ing awesome. The pipe bender itself comes in two actual parts which simply clip together to create a pipe bender. The aluminium formers are marked with bending angles of 30 45- and 90-degree offsets allowing for accurate bending. They have aluminium diecast forms, CNC turned steel handles with knurling for improved grip and integral replaceable nylon guides; comes with both 15mm and 22mm guides. They pull nice tight bends and they are small and lightweight so can be carried in a small tool bag.If you compare to the Bahco 15mm bender at 3x the cost, this is great value for money, doesn't do 180 degree bends but looks just the same if you do two 90 degree bends close together.

Again, if you're working with one pipe at a time, predominantly doing 15 on a job, 22 on a job, I think it's a big time saver. The heavy duty machines consist of a former that the pipe feeds into then using the lever, helps bend it carefully around the former.

These are at the upper end of what I expect to pay but I'd rather keep my money in the UK so I am happy to support British manufacturers. Just for reference, it does come with these instructions and the angles that are marked are 30, 45, 60, and 90. What can you say , best on the market and great tools ,easy to use and put into retirement old hilmor ones.

I've heard a few people say, oh well what about the Former, it's plastic whatever, but it's replaceable. So light in the hand and with the long handled version that I bought it is very easy to pull a bend and match it up to the pre marked angles on the guide. So I've never used one before, seen them around, wasn't sure if they were a bit of a gimmick, but I've got to say, really impressed.
