I have heard negative opinions from other readers about the story where it answers the queston "But what about when we're dead and gone, would you love me then, does love go on? The little fox referred to as Small in the story wants to know will his mother love him no matter what he was.

Unfortunately, Gliori pushes her point a bit too hard with a closing treacly analogy to the light of stars: "We may be close, we may be far,/ but our love still surrounds us.
