Description

The algae are collected by hand on the rocks and usually in the water, selecting and cutting the adult plants at their optimum point of development, just before they wither. Sometimes known as 'vegetarian bacon' these seaweed flakes has a wonderful robust flavour that pairs well with seafood, leafy greens and tomatoes. Our aim is to provide you with an honest superfood; sustainably harvested, local, edible seaweeds and to introduce these as an alternative food source that is healthy, nutritional, tasty and good for the environment. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. The seaweed is picked and processed within 24 hours to lock in flavour, ensure quality and secure maximum nutritional benefits.
