Top notes are Sichuan Pepper, Grapefruit, Cardamom, Lavender and Lemon; middle notes are Leather, Cedar, Labdanum, Pineapple and Geranium; base notes are Ambroxan, Black Vanilla Husk, Cinnamon, Patchouli and Amberwood. Unfamiliar, fresh spicy notes of kumquat or starfish or some crap like that but never the less very nice.

It is so remarkably similar to Rhythm but with an herbal lavender instead of a laundry detergent lavender. Unfortunately, this fragrance became too robust for me after about 2-3 hours of wear; too strong, too powdery, too sharp. My skin eats perfume and with this being a soft style of scent I was expecting to need regular top ups but the performance on this is excellent. Here, the genders are subverted and layered, with the traditional scents of the masculine Fougère—particularly White lavender—harnessed for the women’s fragrance, while the men’s scent is in thrall to a dark Vanilla. To my way of thinking, the last decent thing CK offered was "Truth," in 2002, and even it has fallen by the wayside.It sucks to see so many negative reviews but fragrance is about preference and this obviously isn't for everyone. I adore the citruses, lavender and sage, its extremely relaxing and excellent to wear at bedtime to get soothing sleep. I am very versatile with fragrances so I don't mind something a little different, but for those people that like pretty girl fragrances this is not for you. I am enjoying it and very happy I bought it, it is feminine, easy to wear, and is different from most scents out there. There is very little connection between this fragrance and the original Obsession (or its flankers), but there doesn't need to be.

It has a herbal edge and just enough hint of floral to keep it interesting and from becoming too fresh or spicy. Obsessed is sweet, ultra sweet, super sweet fragrance with that bubble gum super fruity sirupy and a bit spicy dry down that is typical for Ultra Male. Smelled it at the airport and was super positively surprised to realize that this is a hardcore intense version of his classic ' CK Be'.About longevity, this one last about 7 hours on my skin( given or taken) and the projection is no more than an arm's length.

It is difficult to remember it or recognize it from other modern fragrances aimed for young crowd who wish to smell the same as anyone else and do not appreciate something original.They work nicely with my body chemistry, while “female” sweet fragrances usually turn intolerably, cloyingly sweet. The amber and vanilla with the fresh woody notes blend amazingly and make for a super sexy lovable scent. The only problem for me is the medicinal smell, like the smell of breaking an aspirin in two, and it is he only reason I couldn't wear it so I passed it along.
