She described, "These shoes felt grippy on the court, but they also weren't so grippy that I ever felt stuck. As with the Barricades I've playtested, I found the traction to feel even better after a couple weeks of wear.

Adidas Solecourt Boost Parley men's tennis shoes are a performance shoe and worn by all of Adidas' pro players. The history of modern adidas tennis footwear goes all the way back to 1963, when the 3-Stripes introduced the first ever leather shoe to be seen on-court. Tsitsipas represents the next generation of tennis champions, demonstrating both skill and sportsmanship. She said, "As far as weight was concerned, I found the SoleCourt Boosts to be about average among the shoes I have playtested. In addition, all data is securely transmitted using SSL encoding and we do not save any bank or credit card information. I did experience a little bit of heel slippage with the SoleCourt Boost, but I corrected this by tying the shoe with a runner's knot to create an extra eyelet, which cinched the heel up more.

The SoleCourt Boosts were on the grippier side for Tiffani, but she never felt that they hindered her movement. The outsole provides a good amount of traction, but it's still got enough give that I can slide when I need to. Released in January 2019, the adidas SoleCourt Boost was perhaps the closest alternative for longtime fans of the Barricade, which after nearly two decades, didn’t receive an update last year and won’t in 2020.

In terms of weight, these shoes felt similar to the New Balance Fresh Foam Lavs, both of which I thought seemed lighter than the scale displayed. I didn’t have any issues with the extra space, but it’s noticeable, and if your feet are narrow, you’ll likely be turned off by the fit. Though she came into this playtest with high hopes, Michelle also experienced some issues with fit and ankle comfort. I had a lot of extra room in the toe box, but I don't think it was enough to go down a half size, so I stayed in my true size. The SoleCourt Boost felt close to a traditional Barricade for me in terms of stability, so I'm impressed. With that said, the adidas SoleCourt Boost is currently one of their flagship high-performance tennis shoes worn by ATP and WTA tour athletes and intended to stand up to the demands of advanced players, while also serving as an excellent option for beginners and intermediates. The upper looks great, particularly up around the heel, where the material is smooth, has a light sheen, and feels ultra-premium. The SoleCourt Boosts did not feel as rigid out of the box as the Barricade 2018s, although they are a little over an ounce heavier.

React faster with the adidas Women’s SoleCourt Boost – White/Tech Purple/Legacy Purple tennis shoe, featuring a Boost outsole for responsive cushioning.

I’d have to play it during the hot summer months to be sure, but there was no indication that the shoe would trap extensive amounts of heat and leave my feet soaked. Stability was a highlight of the playtest, and the durability ranked right up there with the best on the market. Overall, the grip is solid with the outsole feeling a little softer than most, and although there is a clay court model available, this tread pattern will work great on hard courts and transition well to clay courts. The underfoot cushioning was nice, but it definitely felt firmer than the Stella Barricade Boosts, which are just so plush and comfortable. With a pronounced shank, an outrigger and adiwear 6 outsole, the SoleCourt Boosts boasted stability, traction and durability as their primary strengths.
