Settle down at the country-style dining table in the sizeable dining room and reminisce about your seaside adventures as you gaze out over one of the lovely parts of the garden, this one featuring a cherry blossom arch that towers over a patio; a superb spot to relish a glass of wine in. Fantastic peaceful location, with the Eskdale steam railway 5 mins walk away and 3 pubs within walking distance (1 literally opposite the cottage).

The shower was gorgeous and definitely one of the highlights of the cottage after a day at the beach and walking around. The cottage itself was exceptionally clean and cosy - even better than it looked in the photographs. And the beach is only half a mile away from the front door when you fancy a traditional bucket and spade day out on the sand.At the end of the day, head upstairs and retire to one of the three well-appointed bedrooms, with two of these being doubles enjoying views over the surrounding fields, and the other being a bunk that is perfect for kids. The cottage is a little gem with tasteful furnishings, lovely views and near to several pubs supplying excellent food. We are very fortunate to live where we do and to be able to share it with like minded people is a joy. More than enough equipment in the kitchen and utility room and plenty of sitting room again inside and out. Many thanks to Angela and Steve for making us feel so welcome again, it felt like meeting up with old friends!
